Kate Lavin started her career directing the news at WEEK 25 in Peoria, IL. Needing a more creative outlet, she ventured outside of the news industry and started her own production company in 2013. Within two months of starting her company, Kate began production on her first feature film TRAIL OF BLOOD ON THE TRAIL. Besides directing, Kate Lavin wrote, shot and edited the award winning TRAIL OF BLOOD ON THE TRAIL. Kate was the creative force behind the innovative choose your own adventure DEATH CHOICE: MOTEL MAYHEM web series. She often volunteers her production skills for various charities in the central Illinois region including the yearly St. Jude Telethon in Peoria. Kate completed production on her next slasher movie, SCARED TO DEATH and is working on a number of short films this fall.
Jeremy Friedrich is a co-owner of The Lavin Production Company and co-wrote and produced SCARED TO DEATH, TRAIL OF BLOOD ON THE TRAIL and DEATH CHOICE: MOTEL MAYHEM. Jeremy also provided the voice of Brother Satan in the animated math short BROTHER SATAN GETS SCHOOLED.
